Origin of Christmas in July

A North Carolina camp named Keystone was the first to coin the Christmas
in July phrase in July of 1933. The camp celebrated Christmas with a
tree, gifts and of course a visit by Santa. This was reported by the
National Recreation Association Journal Recreation in 1935.
