If you recall we posted an earlier link to the Star Trek Yourself site which had some pretty cool 3d face mapping. Paramount has  upped the ante to promote the new Transformers Movie Transformers II: Revenge of the Fallen. The studio has created  the We are Autobots  site which  uses augmented reality (AR) and face tracking technology to let you picture yourself with the head of legendary Autobot leader Optimus Prime.  

All you need is a PC or mac or laptop with a webcam to make this work.  Note for Mac users: It says you need to install an active X control. Just click the center of the screen and follow the instructions to download the installer to use the site on a MAC. Macs of course can’t install active X controls. Check out the demo video below.
