Fans of the Zombedy genre (Zombie-Horror/Comedy) of films like Shaun of the Dead, Evil Dead and Army of Darkness may appreciate a new film from director Ruben Fleischer (Borat) and writer team of Rhett Rease and Paul Wernick (Invasion Iowa) . Here’s the premise. In a post-apocalyptic world overrun by zombies, a dysfunctional group
of survivors with clashing personalities must find a way to get along
without killing each other in the process.
The film stars Woody Harrelson as Tallahassee the zombie killer along with Abagail Breslin, Bill Murray who actually plays a zombie, Amber Heard (Alpha Dog) and Jessie Esienberg (Adventureland). Woody Harrelson was so deeply in character he had an altercation with a TMZ reporter at New York City’s La Guardia Airport. He apparently had mistaken the reporter for a zombie. This is a perfect opportunity to mention the Zombie survival guide
which is a necessary resource for zombie destruction and annihilation . You never know
when you’ll come across a zombie.Plus it makes for great coffee table reading.
